As the oldest jewellers in Inverness, our shop is steeped in history and heritage and is one of the most photographed buildings in the city. In 1902, Isaac Finkelstein opened his shop here in The Victorian Market. He was a leading light of Inverness’s small but vibrant Jewish community until his death in 1963, and had first sold his jewellery and watches on the station concourse after arriving in the city from Glasgow. Isaac sold the Railway Watch & Clock Company when he retired, but the original interior and beautifully decorated glass facade have been proudly preserved, altered only to include the name of the jeweller who took over the business, my father -William Morrison.
Today I run the shop under the same name and luckily, I was named after my father! We stock a large range of jewellery, specialising in Victorian and vintage style pieces. We also offer an interesting collection of unusual gifts, carry out watch repairs and all jewellery repairs to a high standard. Make sure you pop in for a visit the next time you are in town.
