We are a group of classically trained chefs and front of house team from the Scottish Borders with the goal to change the game of food and service. After years of working in five-star establishments and working for Albert Roux we decided to take the leap and begin our own journey. ln November 2020 we opened our first restaurant, The Night Safe in Hawick. Using the same team and mindset, we opened Salt N Fire in the Victorian Market in August 2022, the first exclusively vegan takeaway in the UK. We were inspired to expand our business to Inverness after we fell in love with the Highlands and its people.
